3. A number cube is rolled 160 times. The number 2 comes up 39 times. What is the experimental probability of rolling a 2? What is the theoretical probability of rolling a 2? A. 39/160; 1/80 B. 1/6; 39/160 C. 39/160; 1/6 D. 121/160; 1/6

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

experimental probability is just the number of times it came up 2 divided by the number of times the cube was rolled. The theoretical probability is the number of different possible outcomes where the cube shows a 2 divided by the number of possible outcomes. Assuming the number cube has each number on only 1 face, this should be 1/6.
