A circle has its center at (-2, -3) and a radius of 3 units. What is the equation of the circle? (x + 2)2 + (y - 3)2 = 9 (x - 2)2 + (y - 3)2 = 3 (x + 2)2 + (y + 3)2 = 9 (x + 2)2 + (y + 3)2 = 3

@hartnn

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(x - h)² + (y - k)² = r² IS the standard form, where (h,k) is the center, and r is the radius.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Close... look at the equation again though, it says r² (NOT just r )

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh okay... C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah!!!

Thank you!!!
