Is there anyway someone can learn to sing higher and longer? I want to learn to how to do that :)
practice from different pitches like going somewhat high then high then really high but dont crack your voice o.o
thanks :) @vlltimelow
no problem :)
practice singing from the back of your head vs from your chest
Sing from your esophagus, or your "head voice." Head voice should resonate in between your eyes and the bridge of your nose, where you can hold longer notes without tampering your vocal chords. Source(s): I'm a Soprano. I do this for a living.
longer- take a deep breath in for 5 seconds, the n make an "s" sound for as long as you can. time yourself!
Thanks guys :)
Get singing lessons. your teacher will be able to coax your voice so it will get used to the pitches. it worked for me, i really wanted to sing soprano but i was a alto. my singing teacher helped me and i got to a soprano, which really helps when your playing the main female role in acting, as they are most always soprano. Good Luck and Hope this helped xxxx :-)
Totally recommend singing lessons, any mistakes you make trying to push your cords on your own can likely hurt you and detriment your singing long term (and possibly forever). My BEST recommendation for a vocal coach hands down (from wherever you are in the country) gives lessons via skype. She's certified in sls (speech level singing) and trained in person for years with the founder of this vocal instruction method (seth riggs - vocal coach for michael jackson). She's not too expensive in person, and skype is obviously cheaper (and works out fine) I start in the next one or two weeks with her after finishing my last online class. Friends listed below have all told me the same thing. They've taken lessons since they were little kids, and have gone though many vocal coaches. Never have any of them progressed as far as they have with Debora. They're all going on to do BIG things! She also does artist development because singing is so much more than just an instrument. She trains all the major teen artists in southflorida (Miami!!) and has even had a student go to the voice. She trains Vine Star Lele Pons, Michael Lynch, Kevin Yungman, and many others you can look into. Check out Michael lynch's blind audition for the voice. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gCllGnpHUyc Another fellow student's recent cover: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y4Ex4cASODs&list=UU6l4d0WNuNscDVCCyKYuzNA&index=2 You can visit her website and read up on her/obtain contact info here: http://www.coachsingers.com/home/?lang=en Let me know if you have any questions :) Definitely let me know if you follow through, tell her Diego Cocco referred you! (I'm not getting payed by her, but am really excited. Just look at the information and evidence-examples above. Only remember, it will of course require practice and dedication on your part)
