The figure shows the graph of a differentiable function f a) determine from the graph f '(2).
@mathmale hey! :) Can you help me here, if you're not busy?
Very sorry for the delays. Open Study has been up and down, and I'm in the midst of helping another person; I'll be back here as soon as possible.
Please look at the graph, at the point (2,0). Imagine that you were drawing a tangent line to this graph at (2,0). Approx what would the SLOPE of that tangent line be? That'd be the answer to (a).
If necessary, imagine you use a ruler to draw this tangent line. Bring the ruler up to your curve in such a way that it touches the curve ONLY at (2,0). Draw the tangent line.
Hint: the slope of the tangent line to the graph at (2,0) is positive and is greater than 1 but less than 3.

@mathmale, thanks for replying! I was doing some of the other works, so didn't notice you wrote back... Is the answer then 2?
Approximately 2, yes. This represents a slope of 2/1, and also represents the slope of the tangent line to the given graph at (2,0).
Okay! Thank you! :D
