1. A spinner with 10 equal-sized sections numbered 1 to 10 is spun once. What is the probability that the spinner will land on a number that is not a multiple of three? A. 7/10 B. 4/5 C. 3/5 D. 3/10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, there are 3 numbers that are multiples of 3: 3, 6, and 9. Since you have three numbers out of 10 that is a multiple of 3, the probability of landing on a multiple of 3 would be 3/10. What's 10/10-3/10? :)
