What is the order , from the narrowest to widest graph , of the quadreatic functions f(x) = -10x2, f(x)=2x2,f(x) =0.5x2 a. f(x) =-10x2,f(x)=2x2,f(x) =0.5x2 b.f(x)=2x2,f(x) =-10x2,f(x) =0.5x2 c.f(x)=05x2,f(x)=2x2,f(x) =-10x2 d.f(x)=0.5x2,f(x)=-10x2,f(x)=2x2 is it D ?

Alright, we do this exactly the same way, with one amendment: We use the absolute value of the numbers in front of x^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Not B. |-10| = 10. |2| = 2, |0.5| = 0.5. The larger the absolute value, the narrower the graph.

My last guess is a?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I really got to look closer when they r all so tight together.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a is correct :)

Ty I learned something today :) I have a lot of issues with math.
