This is an isosceles trapezoid, this means the two acute and obtuse angles are the same. This means the the obtuse angle to the left of the 136 degrees is also 136 degrees. And the two acute angles at the base are also the same. We also know that since this is a quadrilateral, all the angles add up to 360. We already have 2 angles which add up to 136 + 136 = 272 degrees. So the other 2 angles must add up to 360 - 272 = 88 We know that both acute angles are the same since this trapezoid is isosceles. If their sum is 88, and they're both same degrees, then each one is 44 degrees. Therefore: 9x−1=44 9x=45 x=5
