OpenStudy (armyrangers):

Given a cube with a volume of 36 cm3, what is the volume of a square pyramid that can fit perfectly inside the cube? 3cm 6cm 9cm 12cm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I remember the ancient Egyptians doing this sort of thing, so let me just relay their 'wisdom' :P The volume of the pyramid that fits inside the box perfectly.... is equal to ONE THIRD of the volume of the box. Okay? Okay. ^.^

OpenStudy (armyrangers):

so it is 12 right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That is correct. The Egyptians would be proud :D

OpenStudy (armyrangers):

thanks
