What is the length of one side of a cube with a surface area of 1,350 square feet?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know the formula to calculate surface area of a cube?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Area = 6L(squared)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so plug 1,350 in to it, you get 1,350 = 6L(2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

all you have to do is do the equation backwards, so where first you would square L then multiply by 6, now you first divide Area by 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you get 225

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you :3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and the square root of 225 is 15, so each side is 15
