OpenStudy (henryblah):

Is that a semicircle on top of a rectangle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (henryblah):

Ok. So you have to work out the area of the rectangle and the semicircle separately and add them together. The formula for working out area of a rectangle is length x width. The formula for working out area of a circle is pi x r^2 where r is the radius. So area of a semicircle is half this.
