Oxygenated blood in the left ventricle leaves through the body’s main artery, the aorta, and travels throughout the body C. De-oxygenated blood from the body enters the heart through the right atria, then right ventricle D. Blood delivers oxygen needed for cellular respiration to all cells in the body and removes the CO2 that is created as a result. E. Newly oxygenated blood is brought back to the heart through the pulmonary veins into the left atria and then down to the left ventricle
