A building has x floors. The number of apartments on each floor is 6 less than the number of floors. The number of rooms in each apartment is 1 less than the number of apartments on each floor. The expression below shows the total number of rooms in the building: x(x - 6)(x - 7) Part A: What does x(x - 6) represent? (4 points) Part B: What type of polynomial is x(x - 6)(x - 7)? (3 points) Part C: What is the degree of the polynomial x(x - 6)(x - 7)? (3 points) HELPPPPPP PLEASEEEEEEEEEEE i NEED HELPPP WITH PART B AND C ONLYYYYY PLEASEEEEEE

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you have any options for B and C? It would be nice if you do.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Guyzrc00l That is the whole question, I got part A I just dont have B or C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, I'm working on it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Guyzrc00l Thnak you sooooooo much you have nooo I idea.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok so for B, I believe that the polynomial is a trinomial because it has three terms.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For C, I believe that the degree of the polynomial is 3.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Guyzrc00l I just want to make sure that I am right for A I put that X represents 4x. Am I right??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wait, I'm looking at Part A now.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Guyzrc00l Thanks, So much for sending me the link to what you did you have no idea you are helping me.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is it asking for a shape maybe? For Part A I mean.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If so, A is a parabola.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Guyzrc00l Nope, It just says what does it represent.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Guyzrc00l it says this ... Part A: What does x(x - 6) represent?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, if the question means for you to simplify it, the result would be "x^2 - 6x" , not 4x.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Guyzrc00l okay. You made more sense. Can you help me with another one.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Why don't you just make a new question post. So this one didn't get too long. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Guyzrc00l I am right now:) :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Kay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

why dont you all stop cheatging...this is your final exam in FLVS...I'm going to report you
