“We pay them because we support the government by doing it. . Governments at each level provide us stuff by paying them. such as a military to protect us, and healthcare for when we go to the doctor . It helps the economy because it keeps the economy stable, when you pay your taxes the government can use that money to purchase resources we need from other countries”.
“It doesn’t help me. I shouldn’t have to pay. I’m just a kid.”
“Even kids benefit, you see that toy you want, that toy was made in china, somebody paid their taxes and the government paid china for that toy, so that you can buy it today and be able to play with it. Even our family benefits from taxes because by paying they are stimulating the economy to grow, being able to give us the good life we live. Paying taxes benefits a community because it helps the government provide more homes for those individuals that need them.

“What you should do is create your own budget. A budget is a plan that helps you keep track of the money you recieve and you spend, allowing you to keep track without overspending. It lists all your expenses and the amount of money you can actually spend. When you subtract the income from what you spent, what is left can be a debt ,surplus, or it could be deficit . The reason having a deficit is bad is because you spend more money then you have earned, which causes a debt.

“They have similarities and differences. Some similarities include that you have to keep track of your income and expenses . Some differences are that the categories in you budget might not be the same and where you get the money will be different . If you know how to coordinate your money well you will not end up like the government in debt, you just have to learn to be responsible and know how to manage your money well.”
