Be sure to identify your variables. Part 2: If each order of fries cost $0.99, solve the equation to find the cost of each burger. Show your work.

I know i'm having trouble with part 1
Use y for fries and x for burgers. You know fries are .99¢ so use 13.71-3y=cost. Then substitute you y for 99¢ and do the math. Then do you answer divided by 6.
