Ask yourself, are pit bulls really all that bad? Everybody thinks different; some think their amazing friends and protectors and some think that their horrible killers. Because of what some people say about them bad things may happen to them. These dogs are wonderful creatures and marvelous friends. Pit bulls are not are not really what you think they are.

People say a lot of things about pit bulls-some true, some not-but a lot of these get taken to seriously and make people run the other way. Because they were once trained to protect things such as drugs, used in gangs, etc. people get the impression that they're only used for imoral things. A large amount of people still believe that pit bulls are bad no matter how they were raised. They are actually one of the nicest and well behaved dogs in America, and, sadly, many people get them for the absolutly wrong reasons, such as: someone fameous has one, their cute, their "so cool," and end up not even knowing anything about them and what their bred for.

Many people use pit bull's for the wrong reasons and when something goes wrong it gets blamed on the pit bull, becuase people raise them to fight other dogs, kill, and harm. Therefore people have ban pit bulls is certan places, after all the deaths, and the attempts to harm people. But it's more then just that, pit bulls are banned in a lot of states, like: Iowa, Michigan, Utah, Missouri, Kansas, and a few more. Pit bulls get blamed for a lot of things becase they where not raised the right way, without any care and a good home.

In my opinion I think it's the owner not the pit bull. Because they can be used for many good things, such as protecting your home from intruders, being a service dog, and also being just a good family friendly dog. Pit bulls can be really loyal to you and that's what most people look for in a dog.
