We know it cant be a right triangle because they have 90 degree angle
An isosceles triangle has 2 equal sides, one one other side, given by the single slash mark. A scalene triangle is more of a right triangle, only no sides are the same
*the slash mark will be absent on the unequal side of an isosceles triangle
