True or False.. Atoms are indivisible particles of matter.

Well. They can't be split up. In a general sense, it's true. But depending on the definition, atoms are comprised of protons, neutrons, and electrons as well. And those three are comprised of quarks. I do believe that quarks are comprised of vibrating, one dimensional "strings."
