TheOcean and @bbcream14's new Giant How-to LaTeX book :D(some comments may be deleted cause the book is still a working progress)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hallo. my name is TheOcean or \(\Huge\color{lightblue}{\mathfrak{TheOcean}}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and ima teach you how to do \[ \begin{array}l\color{red}{\text{A}}\color{orange}{\text{D}}\color{#E6E600}{\text{V}}\color{green}{\text{A}}\color{blue}{\text{N}}\color{purple}{\text{C}}\color{purple}{\text{E}}\color{red}{\text{D}}\color{orange}{\text{ }}\color{#E6E600}{\text{L}}\color{green}{\text{A}}\color{blue}{\text{T}}\color{purple}{\text{E}}\color{purple}{\text{X}}\color{red}{\text{}}\end{array} \]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First to do \(\small Begining\) \(\LaTeX\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u start off with an easy backslash, parenthesis. like this. \ ( then u want to put your text in and another backslash and perenthisy. it will look eather like this, \(LATEX~ROX\) or in other words \ ('LATEX~ROX'\ ). i have to warn you that if u end up puting a backslash where it doesnt belog(for example: \(\LateX\)) it will become red/incorrect

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you want to make this sort of latex sign( \(\LaTeX\)) it only works for the word LaTeX. capital L,T,and X. do \( \ LaTeX\ ). keep the backslash. ONLY on this word.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there is a way u can "CHEAT" on LaTeX but i will not give you the link until the end of it because i want you to take the challenge.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To see how to do the LaTeX someone else worked and you liked it , right click, go to Show Math As, and select Tex Commands. A window will pop up that lets you see the code that was used to make something. but remember. if you do that you have to put \ ( and \ ) before and after it. If you enjoy fractions this may come in handy. If you would like to make a fraction like this \(\frac{3}{4}\)you would do \(\frac{#}{#}\) the first # is the numerator. second it the denominator

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now moving onto sizes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there are a couple different sizes in \(\LaTeX\). here let me mention some. \(\tiny{tiny}\), \(\Tiny{Tiny}\) \(\small{small}\) \({normal}\) \(\large{large}\) \(\Large{Large}\)\(\huge{huge}\) \(\Huge{Huge}\) and yes. capitals matter in this because this is how you are going to write it. \(\Huge this\) will have to be typed like \(\Huge{this}}\) without the second }. so u have to do \(\size{msg}}\) again without the second }.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\(\Huge\color{#CC0066}{Fonts}\) ok lets start with a little bit of DIFFERENT writing for example...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

font: \(\bf Bf\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

font: \(\it It\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

font: \(\rm Rm\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Font: \(\cal cal\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Font: \(\scr scr\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Font: \(\mathbb mathbb\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and last but not least Font: \(\boldsymbol boldsymbol\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lets move onto \[ \begin{array}l\color{red}{\text{C}}\color{orange}{\text{O}}\color{#e6e600}{\text{L}}\color{green}{\text{O}}\color{blue}{\text{R}}\color{purple}{\text{S}}\color{purple}{\text{ }}\color{red}{\text{:}}\color{orange}{\text{D}}\color{#e6e600}{\text{}}\end{array} \]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\(\color{#FF0000}{red}\) \(\color{#FF6600}{orange}\) \(\color{#FFFF66}{yellow}\) \(\color{#00FF00}{green}\) \(\color{#0033CC}{blue}\) \(\color{#CC00CC}{purple}\) there are also different shades \(\color{red}{red}\) \(\color{orange}{orange}\) \(\color{yellow}{yellow}\) \(\color{green}{green}\) \(\color{blue}{blue}\) and \(\color{purple}{purple}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

here is the code to those colors i mentioned \(\ color{#FF0000}{red} \)\( \ color{#FF6600}{orange} \) \(\ color{#FFFF66}{yellow}\) \(\ color{#00FF00}{green}\) \(\ color{#0033CC}{blue}\) \(\ color{#CC00CC}{purple}\) and \ ( \color{red}{red}\) \ (\ color{orange}{orange}\) \ (\color {yellow}{yellow}\) \ (\color {green}{green}\) \ (\ color {blue}{blue}\) \ (\ color {purple}{purple}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

soooooo....... \ (\color {nameofcolor}{msg}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):
