Determine the largest constant integer that divides evenly into n^5-17n^3+16n for all integers n greater than or equal to 4.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\(n\) is a factor of that think so any integer divided it

OpenStudy (shiraz14):

@satellite73 : You're correct, but since the question asked for the largest constant integer, n would not be a solution in this context (since n is a variable which may occupy any point on the real number line). So we would solve instead for n^4-17n^2+16.

I'm looking for an integer that will divide any output from the function. Kind of like the GCD of the set of outputs
