when you read an article,why should you analyze the source of the information

To determine the knowledge and possible biases of the author, so you have some idea whether or not to trust what is written.
You need to know if your source is reliable, reputable, and as douglas said - if the author has biases or an agenda influences their perception of whatever subject the article is about
to see if the source is reliable(whether it can be trusted) who is writing it and what connection they have to the topic, and to see if it is biased or non biased xx hope this helps! x :-)
