rst, since triangle(ABD) is isosceles, angle(ABD) = 180 - 2x, so angle(DBC) = 180 - angle(ABD) = 180 - (180 -2x) = 2x. Since triangle(BDC) is isosceles, angle(BCD) = angle(DBC) = 2x. So angle(BDC) = 180 - (2x + 2x) = 180 - 4x. But since triangle(ADC) is isosceles we know that angle(ADC) = angle(ACD) = angle(BCD) = 2x. But angle(ADC) = angle(ADB) + angle(BDC) = x + (180 - 4x). So finally 2x = x + (180 - 4x) ---> 5x = 180 ---> x = 36 degrees.
