What are some good vocal warm-ups when doing songs that are more Christina Agulaira and Whitney Housten type?

You'll want to exercise your high-notes, so do lip trills going up the scale, starting at middle C and working your way up. Practice your vowels (ee, eh, ah, oh, ooo) going down the scale from your highest notes, go up the scale singing "ee eee eeee ahhh, ah ah ahh ah ah ah ah ahhhhh" fluidly, warm up with one of their songs, do breathing exercises (hold your hand to your stomach and pant like a dog, since when you're belting notes, you don't want to tamper with your vocal chords and your throat. When you burst a note, such as Christina and Whitney do, it's from your esophagus. Hope this helps. I'm a Soprano singer, so I know.
