Suppose a population of 160 crickets doubles inn size every month the function f(x) = 160 times 2^x gives the population after x months how many crickets will be there after 2 years

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2 years is equivalent to 24 months, so substitute 24 into the given equation as x. Now you have f(x) = 160 * 2^24. Try plugging the right side of that equation into a calculator, and you'll get your answer. Hope that helped :)

Then call ACME Cricket Control :-)
