before hip hop music was fun and took you to another world kind of like movies
after hip hop the war on politics and religion grew in america because people were speaking the truth.

That's a very good point. I was thinking the last one but I was think Jazz. I don't know anything about Hip Hop because I don't listen to hip hop really. But thanks for replying! I'm going to do some research each before completely choosing.

Compare the value of music education versus what you would displace with it. We had ours an hour a week plus three lunch periods of practice per week.

Oh wow. I chose the second topic already sorry forgot to close the question! At the public school I used to attend band was the last class of the day in high school. It was different for 6-8 grade. But it was only about 55 minutes. But Marching band lasted longer because sometimes we'd have night practices for 3 hours+ 2-3 days a week and competitions on Saturdays biweekly.
