Ok so we all know the formula to find the number of images produced when two plane mirrors are inclined to each other. The formula says its 360/@-1. My question is, how is this formula useful to us. Are there any real life applications for this formula?

OpenStudy (kainui):

I suppose if you're designing a carnival with a mirror house this would be useful. I'm sure there are applications of this for telescopes or quantum mechanics, but I don't know them.
