Do you know the definition of an open, closed and isolated system?
no
They have to do with matter transfer between containers (systems) and heat
An open system is one where matter can be transfered between the outside and the system A closed system is one where matter cannot be transfered between the system and the outside, heat can be though An isolated system is one where heat and matter can neither be transferred between the system and the outside
