Please help me
Ann baked 90 cookies, and now she needs to frost them. The top of each cookie is 3 square inches. If a can of frosting can cover 20 square inches, how many cans of frosting does Ann need?
you mean that one can can cover an area of 20 inch ² , right ?
I think so
So, you need to find the entire area that needs to be frosted first. If each cookie has an area (that needs to be frosted) of 3 inch² , then what is the area of 90 cookies ?
270 inches^2
Yes, correct, 270... So, you know that 1 can, covers 20" , so to find your answer, tell me how many of 20 is there in 270 ?
13.5
I would also say that your answer should be an whole number, because you can't buy a half a bottle. You would need 13.5 though, not 14, so idk.
13
There is not 13 in the possible answers so it should be 14
No, definitely not 13... if you needed an amount of 13.5 bottles you would buy 14 bottles , not 13 bottles.
Oh
Also, when you wound up 5 6 7 8 9 they round up to the next ten, for example 29≈30
Can you post all the options, though, please ?
A. 2 B. 7 C. 14 D. 24
Then only 14...
Thanks
