OpenStudy (amtran_bus):

Its it ok to say time is an independent variable (constant) in my experiment?

OpenStudy (amtran_bus):

The experiment was make a linear graph, so we plotted time in seconds against words typed.

OpenStudy (amtran_bus):

For example...over 10, 20, and 30 second intervals we saw how many words was typed. Time never changed, but words did (3 trials per time interval)

OpenStudy (amtran_bus):

@AccessDenied can you help me?

OpenStudy (accessdenied):

Yes, I'd call time independent. You choose the duration of time and words varies with respect to time. I'm not sure we ever use time as dependent (or I haven't seen it used that way).

OpenStudy (amtran_bus):

Thank you.

OpenStudy (accessdenied):

Glad to help!
