A rectangle has a length of 15 cm and a perimeter of 72 cm. Which equation could be used to find the width of the rectangle? A. 15w = 72 B. w + 15 = 72 C. 2w + 15 = 72 D. 2w + 30 = 72
lol hi first of all, i think you're in the wrong section ;) formula for perimeter is 2L + 2W = perimeter so length is 15 and perimeter is 72, substitute these values into the equation you'll get \(2(15) +2W = 72\) just simplify it
@Data_LG2 so which one do you think it is? which letter answer?
simplify what i did, you should try it first
This should be posted in the Mathematics section
^ agree with shadow. also, we're not allowed to give direct answers here... we just have to guide you and I think I've already done most of the things you have to do, you just have to think about the explanation, so that you'll end up with the right answer
