My guess, so i don't know for sure but i believe because it disturbs or damages the nerves in the body. just remember i have not done any search on this i just said my answer from what i believe

Oh I know for sure that some can give you cancer, If you have an electronic around or on you 24/7 then your more likely to receive cancer
