Which equation would best help solve the following problem: DeSean throws a ball up with an initial vertical velocity of 30 feet per second from a platform that is at ground level. How long will the ball be in the air? A. 16t^2 + 30t = 0 B. –16t^2+ 30t = 0 C. –16t^2 – 30t = 0 D. –4.9t^2 – 30t = 0
@dakotacheyennecollins
This is really hard im not doing this so if i answered i would probably get it wrong i thought you would have the same kind of work as me
sorry
-16^2+30t=0
its okay and thank you both
how did you get your answer
@Onlymaths
30*t is speed*time(distance). here time is t and speed or initial velocity is 30 feet/second. So,as the rigth side is 0 it means the net distance is 0.
thank you
