OpenStudy (marinedude42):

In what direction is the line containing the point (5, 4) and (-2, 4) going? A. down and to the right B. vertical C. up and to the right D. horizontal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hold on, let me graph this.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

According to the graph its D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is there a way to determine the answer without graphing it? @makayla_finkbeiner_

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Honestly you could have looked at the y value of 4 and known they would be across from each other. And also the fact the the x value -2 would have been to the left of the first point.

@RyanL.

OpenStudy (marinedude42):

thanks guys

You should always take the extra time and graph it though to be sure you have the correct answer especially when there is a small amount of points.
