Suppose that V is a vector with magnitude 3 and when put in standard position makes a 30 degree angle with the negative y-axis. Find the component form of V How would I start this problem?

Considering the vector as the hypotenuse of a right triangle. Use the formula of sine and cosine of 30 degrees to find the legs and you will find the components of the vector.
