Find the values of the variables. Matrices help. :~)

OpenStudy (accessdenied):

Hm. Did you have ideas on how to do this? That we might try at least.

OpenStudy (ashleyisakitty):

Not really, i have the determinants of each matrix but thats it. :/

OpenStudy (accessdenied):

I think it will be easier that these matrices are simply equal. That means the corresponding entries are equal. [ a b ] [ e f] [ c d ] = [ g h] implies that a=e, c=g, b=f, and d=h. Because if they were any different, they wouldn't be the same matrix anymore right?

OpenStudy (ashleyisakitty):

{{-6,9}{7,3}} ?

OpenStudy (ashleyisakitty):

excuse me. k=-6 w=9 f=7 and then 3.

OpenStudy (accessdenied):

2f = -14 <-- negative 14, so f = -7. Otherwise, yes, I agree with those answers. :)

OpenStudy (ashleyisakitty):

thanks a lot AD :~D

OpenStudy (accessdenied):

Glad to help! :)
