Which of the following is not a step used when graphing the equation 2x + y = 14 using the x- and y- intercepts method? 1.Count down 2 and right 1 from the y-intercept. 2.Plot the y-intercept (0, 14). 3.Plot the intercept (7, 0). 4.Draw a line through the two points.

3 one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u sure?

OpenStudy (muhammad_nauman_umair):

no no no i was wrong wait

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ight

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think its one. You would need the x and y intercepts as well as the line for graphing.

OpenStudy (muhammad_nauman_umair):

it might be 1 cuz by putting the value of x=0 we get y =14 and x=7 we get y=0 and this is the equation of line given so we must have atleast two points to draw a line it is one which is wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thx. 1 more?

OpenStudy (muhammad_nauman_umair):

k ask

Which of the following is not a step used when graphing the equation y = −one over fourx + 8 using the slope-intercept method? 1.Plot the x-intercept (32, 0). 2.Plot the y-intercept (0, 8). 3.Draw a line through the two points. 4.Count down 1 and right 4 from the y-intercept.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think its 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you would need the intercepts for the slope and you would also have to count down and over (rise over run) to get your answer. You wouldnt need a line, just the points.
