here is what you need to know for the median there are 10 pieces of data so to find the position of the median add 1 to the number of scores and then divide by 2 (10 + 1)/2 = 5.5 so the median is between the 5th and 6th scores... since the stem and leaf plot has the data is in order... count down 5 scores from the top... so the median is the average of the 5th and 6th scores... 5th score = 22 6th secore = 24 median = (22 + 24)/2 median = 23 hope it helps
