-m^2=-81

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If your aim is to find what m equals then this is quite simple. So we take (-m^2) and -81 from both sides to get m^2=81 Now root both sides to get rid of the ^2 and we get m=9

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

divide both sides of the equation by -1 then take the square root of both sides m will have 2 solutions
