Can someone tell me all about stalin's brutal dictatorship/oppression of political enemies; like opposing people, supporters, and how technology helped him?

He eliminated everyone who was against him or in general communism. He sent a secret police force (that every Soviet Union Civilian was afraid of) into the homes of people that were either against him or communism or if someone simply them of being something out of the ordinary and took them to either labor camps or they executed them. Like my great great great grandpa was "accused" of peeing on cats for being an executive of a really nice company and one worker didn't like him, so the worker accused him and the next week he was executed unfortunately.

Technology helped him because in the Soviet Union they had Speakers and radios like in every urban block and it was easier to get word out.
