A triangle has a base of 9 meters and a height of 8 meters. What is the area of the triangle? A.36 square meters B.72 square meters C.17 square meters D.68 square meters
the formula for a triangle is base times height divided by 2
so if the base is 9 and the height is 8 9 * 8 / 2 = x your answer
36? oh ya sorry i forgot to tell you my mom helped me finish the other problem. im sorry i forgot
doesnt matter you got it right good
whats is the approximate area of the figure? A triangle has a base of 9 meters and a height of 8 meters. A.36 square meters B.72 square meters C.17 square meters D.68 square meters
find the area of a circle with a diameter of 8 plus 8 times 18
what is half of 8? 8 is the diameter of the circle (see ther is a half circle ontop and bottom making one big circle). half the diameter is the radius of the circle. the formula of the area of a circle is pi times radius squared. so multiply pi times the radius times the radius. then add 8*18 for the rectangle
ok thanks
