10. What is one way in which the lymphatic system works together with the immune system? White blood cells, including basophils and neutrophils, are circulated by the immune system, while lymphocytes, including B cells and T cells, are circulated by the lymphatic system. The lymphatic system is responsible for immune responses in the outer regions of the body (e.g., arms, legs, fingers, toes), while the immune system is responsible for the internal areas. The lymphatic system doesn't work together with the immune system, since the lymphatic system becomes the immune system after birth. The immune system produces B cells and T cells. These cells are stored in the lymph nodes, which are part of the lymphatic system.
