HELP!!! Can anyone help me understand this question? what is it asking? What is the average common ratio between the successive height values of ball 1? Ball 2? Experimental errors may cause common ratios to have some variances within the data for one ball. Use the average common ratio. what does successive height mean?

@ranga do you understand?

OpenStudy (ranga):

You have not given the full problem here but I am guessing each ball is bouncing up and down. And each time they bounce they will reach lesser height than before. Successive height is : height reached on bounce 1 and bounce 2 or bounce 2 and bounce 3, etc.

ooh ok thank you @ranga

You are welcome.
