OpenStudy (eli_moses):

Sound will not travel in a 1) solid 2) liquid 3) gas 4) vacuum

OpenStudy (theeric):

Sound needs to travel via the oscillation of matter. Does that help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

vacuum has no oscillation of matter. all the others do.

OpenStudy (eli_moses):

so whats the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

vaccun

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes vacuum is the answer since solid, liquid, and gas all have matter that vibrates. In a vacuum, no matter is vibrating so sound cannot travel.
