@iPwnBunnies i dont know this one at all

OpenStudy (elisaneedshelp):

OpenStudy (ipwnbunnies):

Hmm, I'm not sure. How can I describe it?

OpenStudy (elisaneedshelp):

idk mayb something about tangents but idk much

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Posting the instructions along with the diagram may help you get more responses. Are there any measurements at all given? Note that two radii are drawn within the circle, and that each one MUST be perpendicular to the corresponding tangent line. So you know you have two right triangles. Again: what are we trying to find / calculate / measure ???

OpenStudy (elisaneedshelp):

Nop my teacher just wants us to say stuff about it but i really dont know

OpenStudy (mathmale):

then you'll need to look at every aspect of the illustration and write down everything you can think of. For example: There are two tangent lines to the curve; the radii from the center of the circle are perpendicular to the respective tangent lines, and so on. Use your imagination. Go back and read some of your learning materials in a search for other appropriate descriptors.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Drawing a line from x at the center of the circle to the vertex y will give you two right triangles, and that may be helpful.
