So it looks like we have....a rectangle...and a half a circle... The rectangles perimeter is easy... just add up the 8 + 8 + 9 + 9 = 34 Now with that semi-circle...we need to find the circumference of the circle....because that is the length of the outside of the circle...but then divide it by 2 since we only have half \[\large C = \pi d\] We know the full diameter is 8 (look at the length of the rectangle above it...it is 8 inches long.... So we have the circumference = pi times 8 which is AROUND 25.13 ...so divide that by 2 to get 12.566 So add those 2...we have 34 + 12.566 = 46.566
