OpenStudy (anonymous):

A large body collides with a stationary small body from the rear end. How do the bodies behave if the collision is inelastic? The bodies collide and then separate. The bodies stick and move together. The large body stops, and the smaller body starts moving. The small body will not move. The large body will start moving in the opposite direction.

OpenStudy (sidsiddhartha):

the bodies will stick and move together in the direction of motion of the large body but the speed will be decreased
