ok so the first number can take one of 10 numbers the second --> one of 10 numbers the third --> one of 10 numbers the fourth --> one of 10 numbers so at the end 10*10*10*10=10.000 numbers

yes @IsaiahCC100 we can see it like this way it's the number of "numbers" from 0000 to 9999 ---> 9999-0000+1=10.000 and the solution I gave is using analytic combinatorics :)
