it's B do you want to know how I find it ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@hidy Thank you and yes I would like to know to how to find it :3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

let's start by the equation of a line it's: y=ax+b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so if you replace in the equation by the point (0,-5) -->x=0 and y=-5 that will give you the value of b -5=a*0+b-->b=-5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to find the value of a , you replace again in the equation by (3,0)-->x=3 and y=0 so 0=a*3+b--> 0=a*3-5 -->a=5/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you replace in the equation y=(5/3)x-5 --> y=(5x-15)/3 --> 3y=5x-15 --> -5x+3y=-15

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh okay, thanks for the explanation :3

no problem :)
