Katie has to wear a uniform to school. When she dresses each morning, she has a choice of three different shirt colors (white, green, or yellow) and two different skirt colors (green or plaid). How many different uniform combinations are there?

Anyway just multiply 3 by 2 and you have your answer

Because there is two skirt combinations to every shirt colour so if there are 2 skirts to every 3 shirts then that would mean 2x3 which equals.....
