The industrial revolution began in Great Britain because there were many new inventions. There were improvements in agriculture, new types of technology made, there was also a good labour supply and transportation was greatly improved. Other reasons were that Britain was getting a good supply of raw material, there was a pro business government, and there were capitals with money to invest in new factories.
