How have terrorism and the 9/11 attacks changed the policies of the United States in regards to immigrants and terrorism? Discuss the events of 9/11 and the War on Terror
Well instead of going to war against one nation, we went to war against an idea, which is terrorism. Or you could say we went to war against a terrorist organization.

Just adding to TheRealMeeeee's answer, one big change that you can see is at airports with the increased security screening. It wasn't always like that. Years ago, before 9/11, you could just walk up to the counter, buy a ticket, go through the scanner, and head to your gate. Now there are new ID checks, restrictions on what you can bring on the plane, new scanner machines, and other changes that people didn't have to worry about before.
